Genin lake

Lake Genin is a medium-altitude lake in the Jura massif located in the heart of a typical Jura forest with fir, spruce and hardwood trees.
This site is nicknamed "the little Canada of the Haut-Bugey" and has been listed since 1 March 1935, swimming is allowed.

Lamoura Lake is the highest-altitude lake in the Jura! (1 155m)
This lake was formed after the last ice age over 15.000 years ago.
Very nice family walks around the lake as well as many hiking paths all around.
Swimming is allowed.
Vouglan lake

Lake Vouglans is like the seaside resort of Jura! The 3rd largest artificial lake in France offers a wide range of facilities and activities : beaches, restaurants, accommodation, guided cruises, kayaking, fishing...
Very very busy in the summer.

La queue de cheval waterfall

Near Saint Claude, passing through Chaumont, the horse tail waterfall offers a vertiginous fall of 60 metres giving it a slender shape reminiscent of a horse's tail, hence its name.
Cascade de la Queue de Cheval is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Haut Jura (France) situated near the picturesque village of Saint Claude (Chaumont direction).
It has two drops with a total height of 60 m and a shape looking like a horse tail.
A perfect place to play, swim, cool down and enjoy summertime.

Les Rousses renowned ski resort is located 50 minutes drive from the campsite.
Also famous for its Comté cheese maturing cellars and its lake.

Ponts des amours, Palais des îles, castle, old town, boat trip on the lake… Annecy is a must-see during your holiday at the campsite.

Les grottes du Cerdon, prehistoric amusement park

Open from April to November.
The Cerdon caves will make you discover a world from the depths of time!
The tour is a loop through a cave with a huge main passage and three entrances.

Dinoplagne

The paleontological site of Dinoplagne was discovered in April 2009 in Plagne.
This is the longest set of dinosaur fossil tracks in the world, extending for 155 metres.
The size of the 150-million-years.old footprints is amazing!
